Didn't recognize London or Cambridge when I was there last year. Not English, anymore. Labour let them in a decades ago (thanks Blair) and it never stopped.

  • Shame on the French. Where are our "friends and partners" in the EU to stop this when we need them? The same rock they crawled under when Italy was going through the C19 crisis I guess. All mouth and

But that is the problem it does cost the tax payer a lot of money.

???????????????????

How does a legal immigrant that has paid for visas etc, pays for own flight to the country, pays for accommodation, pays for food and medical "cost the taxpayer"?

None of us cost the Thai taxpayer, unless going to hospital and not being able to pay.

I see kingdong is still confused on all what I write.

Of course he is entitled to express any opinion, or post any emoticon.

I am a member since 2006, with now 3800 posts.

During all these years, some were/are agree with what I wrote, others not, as it is on a forum.

However being confused was/is more than rare.

Honestly it worried me in the beginning.

I am practically sure now, with kingdong,  it is a way to react for lack of a  counter-argument, or/and just wanting to be annoying.

The same way some constantly use the emoticon " Haha " to react to posts.

That said, I now won't react  anymore on his use of emoticons.

Ah! Lucky Luke,
Sometimes we don't feel like replying to messages, either so as not to escalate things, or we're neutral or we can't find the matching emoticon, so we click on the one that comes closest to it.
Good idea not to focus on emoticons.
HA! HA! HA! So take life on the bright side.

The first mistake is to bring them ashore. What should be done, towed back to France and the boats destroyed in plain view. That would be a message

A Falklands era Ret'd Admiral made the point a couple of weeks ago during a radio interview that the surplus cruise ships that are currently mothballed in Southhampton, Plymouth etc as a result of this covid lark could be requisitioned and used to house migrants offshore (in international waters) just long enough for them to be properly screened & the freeloaders sent packing.

They could fill the cruise ships up at the dinghy pick up point, board the scroungers into nice cabins instead of detention centres, then ditch them back on the beach closest to whichever hell-hole they originated from.

discovered too many members are too quick to hit the report button instead of trying to counter a point raised.
