Sorry my bad again.  That 25.000 THB fixer-agent option was for the application for a 1-year extension of stay based on a Non Imm O Visa (without the need for the 400K and the 2 month seasoning).

Just a quick update. Just came back from Khon Kaen immigration, and they assured me that the only option to get a 1 year extension was to have 400k Baht in the account. Even 12 months of 40k wasn't an option...

That is completely incorrect. It is sill allowed.

Also I applied for my extension based upon marriage using transfers into my Thai bank account this month. It was the 2nd year that I have used the transfers into the bank after I could no longer get proof from my embassy.

Hi Joe, I was politely telling them that aswell, but they weren't having any of it..:(
