Skin cancer check at public hospital in Bangkok

Featured Replies

Any recommendations for a skin cancer check at a public hospital in Bangkok? Last year I visit Dr. Anna (?) at Bangkok Hospital, Pattaya. Boy, does that hospital now how to charge, she was good I agree. Traveling to Pattaya, a hotel, plus hospital charges made it an expensive checkup.

The best option would be http://inderm.go.th/inderm_eng/cliniceng.php

But even there, odds of being seen by anyone with extensive  experience in skin cancer in Caucasiona is very, very low.

Skin cancer is very rare among Thais. And when it does occur, it looks quite different.

I frankly would not have confidence in the results, have seen too many misdiagnoses in both directions.

I don't find it any easier or cheaper to go to Pattaya for this yet I still do it,.
