BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand sought to allay fears of a second wave of coronavirus infections on Thursday, after a woman tested positive having cleared quarantine nearly two months ago on returning from overseas.

Truck driver survives electric shock, set alight after steel structure load hits overhead power lines

PHUKET:-- A truck driver is lucky to be alive after he was set alight by an electric shock he received while getting out of his truck on Chao Fa West Rd in Wichit today (Aug 20) after the steel structure in the back of the truck hit overhead power lines.

Thailand edges nearer sustainable debt limit with Bt48bn ADB loan

SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea's intelligence agency believes that Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, is serving as his "de facto second-in-command" but has not necessarily been designated his successor, a South Korean lawmaker said on Thursday.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Donald Trump cannot block a prosecutor's subpoena for eight years of his tax returns, a federal judge ruled on Thursday, in the latest setback in the U.S. president's longstanding effort to keep his finances under wraps.

 

U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero in Manhattan rejected Trump's claims that the grand jury subpoena from Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance to the president's accounting firm Mazars USA was "wildly overbroad" and issued in bad faith.
