webfact
Taxi driver caught stealing passengers' bag at Suvarnabhumi Image: Channel 7 Images showed the moment when a tricky taxi driver made off with a bag that a previous passenger had left on a trolley at Suvarnabhumi airport. A man had been shown entering an orange cab with several bags but he forgot a small backpack left dangling on a trolley. After a green and yellow cab came in its place and some passengers had loaded up their possessions a woman noticed the forgotten bag and handed it to a security guard. However after a brief exchange of words the driver took the bag himself and left with his passengers. A 66 year old man reported the lost bag to the authorities on 7th August. It contained valuables worth 10,000 baht. Investigations led to Suradech or "Wally", 42, surrendering to police on August 22nd. All items were recovered and handed back to the owner. The driver was charged with theft from an airport. He said that he had told the security guard that the bag had belonged to the other passenger. Flying Saucage
Was this taxi-Somchai not afraid of maybe stealing a suitcase full of trillions of viruses? I mean, all Thais have to panic in these difficult times! He didn't show enough solidarity, IMO
