Hello folks, I'm curious to what stuff in thai that triggers your stress.

For me listed up below as just came up to me mind.

Hope to hear yous rant as well...

1. Slow drivers on the fast lane

2. My car getting Scratched. I though who cause this vandalism was for high school drop outs or money short college kids back home. Here, seems happening with adults.

3. Going to expensive  poor quality packed restaurants with family and friends.

4. Screaming kids and adult neighbors

5. 2nd hand smoke, although I do smoke

6. Ppl making big money on YouTube

7. <deleted> up video ad on Thai visa forum...

What's yours mate??

You want me to write a book,  no thanks, it's been good for anger management almost ???? my lastest is farangies who know nothing about air-con unit gas. ????

Heat and the often insane noise from many bars here in Pattaya. And what stresses even more that bars obviously are above the law here and can do what they want.

Ordering a beer in a restaurant or bar, when I can see the ‘tap’ or ‘fridge’ but the beer still takes an age to arrive !!!

(I could just get up and get it myself more quickly !)

Really though - the hypocrisy and absolute apathy towards road safety.

The acceptance of DUI

The general 'me first’ and ’so what’ attitudes on the roads

The general level of <deleted>wittery on the roads

Unnecessary hassles when trying to do something which should really be very simple

Increasing prices of ‘everything’ is starting to get up my nose.

All of these offset by:

- General lack of aggression and confrontationalsim on the roads - Thai people are just nicer than folk back home !

- Even when pushing through, anger is rare

- being able to ‘roll with it’

And all the other things which are great in Thailand. This shouldn’t be a Thai Bashing thread, but it will turn out that way.

For every complaint of things in Thailand there are more positives.

Your sir, have just opened up a can of worms for many............that said, I am slowly learning not to stress anymore, after all, the purpose of me moving here 5 years ago was to retire and enjoy life, so I will stick to the original plan and let go of the things that I cannot control. otherwise I will end up stressed.

TVF is a good release ????

Opening the TV newsletter every morning... that's stressing...

All the rest is killing me!

Thai TV. All those boings and bells and whistles, and the screaming and crying from the women and kathoey on the Lakorn shows.

Although, it is easy to escape the TV.

Indiscriminately placed speed bumps without any warning signs which renders it virtually useless but inherently dangerous.

Traffic noise and the complete lack of any enforcement of laws related to same! ????

I stopped caring a long time ago. I'm a far more patient and stress-free person for it.

The only worry I have is safety sometimes and what kind of future my (missus') niece and nephew will have when they grow up. I hope it's one where they're encouraged to think and be free.

A few months ago the thought of a major Covid 19 outbreak in Thailand stressed me out. Now I'm worried that I'm no longer taking it seriously enough. I just can't win!

Only Thai immigration.

Nothing else really bothers me.

When I lived in Thailand, stress from xenophobia, officialdom, immigration officers, police, nosey neighbours etc.

Now I live in Laos ==> no contact with police, IOs and no nosey neighbours = no stress!

Very confusing your above comments, officialdom, police?

You volunteered for the police, so that makes your post ridiculous.

If you can't beat 'em join 'em.

I don't understand the xenophobia thing. I'm English so a born and bred xenophobic. French, Germans, Irish, Scots, Welsh......they should all go back to where they came from.

Recently I have began to loathe people in uniforms. Especially nurses. Just get changed and maybe realise if your so pristine after being at work all day. Maybe you not doing the job properly. Uniforms seem like some kind of look at me authoritarian tool. Even with all this pandemic going on it does not seem to dawn on anyone that the uniform is potentially contaminating people and making immune systems weaker.

Waking up late before work some mornings.

I have to crank one out rather than getting a lass off thai friendly to come sort me out.

Honestly I’m worried about the US. Imagine when Joe Biden wins how will the Republicans react?? You will see cities destroyed, minority businesses destroyed, livelihoods destroyed, burning cars, people walking around with guns and killing people. This is scary and I wish I could go back to pick up my family and head over to our cabin in Colorado. Trump supporters are terrifying. They’ll destroy this country for their own selfish desire for power.

This is why we need to elect Joe Biden. He has a politician for nearly half a century. He knows America’s weaknesses and our strengths. We need Joe and Kamala to heal the racial divisions that Trump and his supporters have caused. We need Joe to end the racial strife and unprecedented violence of blacks at the hands of whites. We need Joe to end the violence of LatinX at the hands of whites. Only through Joe, The Light Bearer, can he navigate through the darkness that has befallen America. Please vote for Joe Biden. Please vote for Democrats.
