Nonthaburi orders three-day closure of restaurant where new Covid-19 patient worked

Nonthaburi Governor Sujin Chaichumsak has ordered the closure of the "Sam Wan Song Kuen" (three days, two nights) restaurant on Rama V Road for three days after it became known that a man, who has tested positive for Covid-19, used to work there.

Police bust gang of international scammers

600 facing quarantine after Thailand’s first locally-acquired COVID infection for 100 days

Almost 600 people have been found to have been in close physical contact with a COVID-19 infected DJ, with 78 of them classified being in the “high risk” group, as Thailand recorded four new COVID-19 cases today (Friday), including the first locally transmitted infection in over 3 months.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand is racing ahead with contact tracing after detecting its first domestic coronavirus infection in over three months, health officials said on Friday, with tests conducted on nearly 200 people with possible exposure to the new case.
