bkk6060
I just wonder why mostly Thai people are very polite about picking their teeth after they eat. Usually in public putting their hand over their mouth picking the food out with a tooth pick after a meal. Yet, open nose picking seems to be acceptable. No shame deep digging for gold finger way up. Then after looking at it, rolling it, wiping or throwing it. Maybe they were never educated in the germs, bacteria, and viruses that can be spread through this unsightly habit? Popular Post anterian
This topic crops up every couple of years, U think the answer is simple, tooth picking is a conscious directed act, nose picking is often a reflex action, as both children and Prayuth have demonstrated.

vogie
Poking their noses is probably the Thai equivalent of us scratching our a*ses.

johnray
I have wondered this too. I now make conscious effort to see who covers their mouth when they sneeze. Most of them just spit all over the closest person. A few cover their mouth.
