April 27, 200718 yr Hi, Recently when booting my computer after a night off, I had the message that the CMOS battery has failed, then I could continue. Now even after a short time off I have the message that my CPU has changed, still able to continue. I guess I need to change my CMOS battery, and then will have to go through my BIOS settings as they have probably been reset to default value. How difficult is it to change a CMOS battery? Are they all the same, or do I need to remove it first and make sure I buy the same one? What's the approximate price? Easy to find in Fortune/Panthip? Thxs -- Yeti
April 27, 200718 yr The shops on the bottom floor directly next to the entrance have the batteries in Pantip. 20b from memory, take along your old one to compare.
April 27, 200718 yr It sounds amazing but, from experience you can probably find this Cmos batteries at 7eleven. Of course also a good idea to also take the original, but saves the cost of going to Panthip.
