Peace? What peace ?

North Korea - Fail

?

Although he didnt sign a peace agreement with NK , the dialogue and meetings stopped the confrontation and caused Trump and Kim to become acquaintances and no longer hostile to each other

So, it wasnt a failure

Because that's what diplomacy is all about: BFF making. The fact that North Korea continued to advance its nuclear weapons development is utterly besides the point.

The missile testing seems to have stopped though, and those missile tests were what caused the confrontation .

Funny how this even is news. More than 150 people gets nominated every year (Each member of the parliament is free to choose one). Next to every country in the world has a few Trump supporters among the members of their government. No shocker. He's been nominated every year (to my knowledge) since he became President. Trump got 1 (one) nomination this year, not even two, and we're not even into the voting part yet, that isn't done by the parliament, but an independent organisation, the Nobel Peace Price committee.

You link states " It has been 2 years, 9 months since North Korea's last ICBM test."

Which must be about the same time as Trump and Kims meeting ?

Far more dangerous are sub launched missiles:

"North Korea test-fired a new-type submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) in the waters off Wonsan. The Republic of Korea Armed Forces said the missile, which was dubbed Pukguksong-3, flew about 450 kilometers and reached a maximum altitude of 910 kilometers, making it an intermediate-range ballistic missile. It fell into the exclusive economic zone of Japan off Shimane Prefecture."

It was successfully tested on Oct 2, 2019.

More than 6 months before the meeting and 3 months before NK started to make contact with SK. They stopped because they had completed their program.

"After North Korea claimed that the missile was capable of "carrying [a] super-heavy [nuclear] warhead and hitting the whole mainland of the U.S.", Kim-Jong-Un announced that they had "finally realized the great historic cause of completing the state nuclear force",[23] putting them in a position of strength to push the United States into talks.[24]

I suspect it is due to his reported "poor health" that he's no longer confrontational.

Pre-Trump, there would be the occasional tantrum from the fat controller but hardly anything to worry about.

I give him credit for at least trying but he achieved pretty much jack and again hardly merits for a N.P.P.

There were numerous rockets going off and NK threatening to nuke the USA and Trump had sent the USA navy to the vicinity and there was a possibility or a war , maybe a World war with China , Japan, and South Korea getting involved , Trump walked into NK , shook Kims hand and all the tensions were diffused

Tensions were diffused before, in particular during meetings between NK and SK. The initiative of peace talks has been clearly initiated by NK, after getting a nod from Xi. Trump jumped on it in his usual PR way.

Lets be clear North Korea and the USA are offically at war Trump did not change that state.

Good news, North Korea and the USA are not actually at war .

Dont  think they ever have been  .

The was previous hostilities between USA and NK , that had been going on for 50 odd years .

Trump has managed to pacify NK , he did that whereas all previous POTUS had failed .

NK was/is a rogue state , Trump quietened him down a bit

Well, technically, it's still only a truce.

Just how is he endangering South Korea. If anything. The Clintons did more to endanger South Korea than anyone.
