  • If the above link requires a OTP for security and your roaming isn't enabled, this may not work.   Otherwise, download and install the DTAC app. There may also be a need to receive a OTP so

  • You could try    FB  https://www.facebook.com/dtac/ Messenger  see link on FB page, lower right, About, they reply quite quickly IME, can provide service. I used this recently to reset

The whole point is that I want to keep the same number.

How do I turn off data on the DTAC Network?

*104*72# and then the dial key after you have called DTAC and activated IR.

Whilst mtls2005 is doing his best to help, I fear that it is discouraging you from doing anything for yourself and you are falling back on him doing everything for you.

There is no need for him to do any top ups for you at this stage.

You firstly need to contact DTAC and get them to switch IR on for you. Once that is done, every thing can be done by tapping in a few codes, as above, on your keypad.

Just saw this thread.

Contact DTAC via Twitter - direct message.

They took care of extending me for 6 months for 12 THB or something like that - a poster earlier posted the amount.

They took the payment from money in my account.

If you have no funds in your account, have the poster who's willing to do the topups deposit the amount needed instead.

No need to call them, no need for enabling IR, no need to disable data, easy peasy.

How can he know that amount needed if he doesn't contact DTAC? What happens when he needs to top up again?

Try to think things through ???? IR solves all of the issues.

Eindhoven - "How can he know that amount needed if he doesn't contact DTAC?"

jimmyj - "Contact DTAC via Twitter...".

Eindhoven - "Try to think things through...".

Try to pay attention to a 6 sentence post - or even the 1st 2 sentences only - before writing a condescending critical response.

If you contact DTAC via Twitter, then why not just get them to turn IR on during that contact??

Why suggest that there is no need to turn IR on? What benefit is there to not turning it on?

Think things through, as I suggested.

Thanks, it seems a good idea to have IR.

What about this link:

https://www.dtac.co.th/en/serv/quickrefill/index.html

enter you phone number, amount of top up.

next page asks type of payment then card details.

Didn't want to go any further but seems possible to do without international roaming.

Without IR you can not log on to your account so can not get any information etc etc. but it does seem possible to top up.
