davejonesbkk
I need to have some money sent from a UK bank account to my Thai account (SCB). The amount will only be small, around 100 - 150 GBP, what are the charges with SWIFT? Ive checked there website but it didnt seem very clear. I was told it would be cheaper than Western Union, is this true? David
Jared
Dont hold me to this but I thinks it £20 per transaction. Go online to your banks website and search for swift in the search options and it should tell you.

Also, I'm outside the U.S. and have used an exchange service that only cost about $13.00 U.S. The receiving bank will charge a small fee, 200-500 baht, depending on the bank and amount transferred. Anyway, for me it is cheaper than Western Union and funds were available next business day.
