Is it all going to kick off I wonder.

Blood in the streets.

Don't the pigs know that they must stand 2 metres apart !  I can see by the photo that they are only going to be there in a friendly role !

well so much for social distancing against the COVID virus, so much for taking safe hygiene precautions such as masks and sanitizers.

I expect a spike in virus transmission cases in a week or two then further extend to keep borders & airplanes out.   It'll be their own fault.

The organizers were told and didn't listen so it's their own fault if students get sick and/or the virus spike in the coming days which I suspect will be the case.  imo

They have more chance of catching any virus travelling on public transport to get to the rally, rather than gathering in an open air environment, to show their disapproval of this despicable government.

To monitor a peaceful student protest .... a bit heavy handed one would say?

A more accurate statement would have been 8.500 police stationed at 14 sites in  Bangkok to intimidate student protesters.

Any reports from the front line?  Is it under way?

Hoping it won't go beyond intimidation!
