A job it was designed for ... but designed by whom ? Well , in the case of Covid , not by humans .

Even though they definitely replicate and adapt to their environment, viruses are more like androids than real living organisms. Think Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator, or I, Robot). Just like crazy killer robots, viruses are created fully formed, and rely on host materials to build and power themselves.
