spoon1967
I have just came across the The Thailand Longstay Company site, which states it was established in 2001 with the endorsement of the Thai Royal Government to support long stay tourism. I have been coming to LOS 4 times a year since 2010 (twice a year before that since 2007), was married and have Thai children, but this is the first time I've seen this site, the service isn't free of course. Has anyone has any experience in using this service? surprised I've not seen it mentioned anywhere? alianware
The year of the site doesn't say anything. You can buy an old domain and change the domain name. It is possible that this site has direct connection with immigration officer. And ofcourse no one will ever know who. Otherwise you will never able to offer any service like that. Popular Post Maestro
I believe the longstay company started with the introduction of the O/A visa or the O/X visa, whichever came first. That takes care of two letters of the alphabet; 23 more left for additional special visas in the non-immigrant O category for future use. Now, they got the Special Tourist Visa (STV) and time will tell what will next be added to the alphabet soup. 1
damascase
Their website states as ‘sponsors and partners’ the Tourist Police, Immigration and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). TAT is als9 presented as ‘a major shareholder’. Edited October 3, 2020 by damascase

You cannot change a domain name. The only thing you can do is cancel the old name and register a new one. 7 hours ago, spoon1967 said: The Thailand Longstay Company site, which states it was established in 2001 Although you can write any date on the website. But when looking at the whois of the website it will show the date the domain name was registered. I've used them for fast-track service at Suvarnabhumi a few years ago, although I note (from the website) that they no longer appear to provide such a service at present.
