I am not sure it really exists. I think there was mix up between a extension and a total stay of 60 days when it was verbally stated by immigration in a news conference.

People are getting a total of 60 days by adding up the 30 day extension and the 30 day amnesty this month.

We do have the report from Ubon that the 60 day extension will cost 3900 baht. But if it really doesn't exist then what are they going to do with the 100,000 or so people on a tourist visa who didn't apply for a covid extension? Because immigration have no credibility now so very few of them are going to leave before 31 October.

I sent the form he posted to my contact in Ubon immigration and he nodded his acknowledgement of it. Hopefully it wasn't something they produced locally in anticipation of an announcement.

That form mentions nothing about 60 days.

All I know for sure is that I have seen nothing official about it. No immigration order and no cabinet approval for it.
