Popular Post steelepulse
Doctors and health care professionals around the world are signaling that they have had enough of the draconian measures being taken and how this is presenting a major health crisis around the world. Drs. Martin Kulldorff professor of medicine at Harvard, Sunetra Gupta, professor at Oxford University, an epidemiologist with expertise in immunology, and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, professor at Stanford University Medical School, a physician, epidemiologist started this petition. So far there have been over 15000 doctors, medical and health scientists sign this petition which was started on October 4th. At least, some people are coming to their senses. "Coming from both the left and right, and around the world, we have devoted our careers to protecting people. Current lockdown policies are producing devastating effects on short and long-term public health. The results (to name a few) include lower childhood vaccination rates, worsening cardiovascular disease outcomes, fewer cancer screenings and deteriorating mental health – leading to greater excess mortality in years to come, with the working class and younger members of society carrying the heaviest burden." https://gbdeclaration.org 5

In addition, guaranteed shielding of vulnerable groups is infeasible and there would be substantial mortality and morbidity even among the ‘non-vulnerable’. It would also increase health and social inequalities, with the most disadvantaged groups, particularly the elderly, deprived and the ethnic minority groups, being disproportionately impacted. Treatment for COVID-19 is improving all the time. Delaying as many people as possible becoming infected with coronavirus will save lives and ill-health as new treatments become available. Other countries have shown that the infection rates can be suppressed without highly damaging ‘lockdowns’ by using established infection control procedures, including excellent contact tracing followed by supported isolation. https://www.independentsage.org/a-deliberate-population-immunity-strategy-before-a-vaccine-why-it-wouldnt-work-and-why-it-shouldnt-be-tried/
Popular Post thaibeachlovers
Soon, hopefully, the small revolts will become a torrent of outrage, and politicians will be forced to back off lockdowns or face oblivion in the elections. All over the world people are rebelling against the dictat. Unfortunately IMO too many scared people support actions that destroy more people than corona ever did. 2

I'm all for that. Ensuite bathroom, cable tv, meals provided-my accommodation would be an improvement over what I can afford now. People sleeping rough have also benefited. The bill for it all will be gigantic and monstrous. I pity the generations to come that will have to pay for it.

vermin on arrival
The 2 hour press conference is a must see in my book. Since it is an .org website they cannot stop it's dissemination. Other countries have shown that the infection rates can be suppressed without highly damaging ‘lockdowns’ by using established infection control procedures, including excellent contact tracing followed by supported isolation. This whole issue of the narrow focus on saving lives from coivd-19 is what the scientists at Great Barrington took singular aim at. Public health policy cannot be focused on only 1 disease (public health 101); it must take the treatment of all ailments into account. The lives lost from cancer screenings not done and cardiovascular screenings/treatments not done, etc in the long term will far exceed the numbers "saved" by a covid suppression strategy. In addition, the number who will die from starvation due to the covid lockdowns et al is estimated to be at 136 million at the minimum. There is no chance covid deaths could be close to that. In their educated expert policies, the lives saved will not come close to the lives lost by the current situation. They also discussed the massive global economic damage being done which is being underplayed. Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, who is also an economist, discussed this in particular. He stated that in the last 20 years 1 billion moved upwards out of poverty. He believes that billions will have a massively negative impact to their livelihoods from the covid containment measures. There is a great deal of value in their 2 hour "press conference", and I believe everyone should watch it whether you agree with them or not.

The epidemiologists at Great Barrington also took aim at the issue of immunity. They said that the issue of immunity by antibodies is just the bottom range of societal immunity. The discussed the studies which said that there is both b and t cell memory immunity. Dr. Gupta also stated that studies in the UK showed that 80% of people there had cross reaction antibodies from other coronaviruses. So cross coronavirus immunity is a reality and is substantial.
vermin on arrival
Everyday the number of health care professionals and scientists signing the declaration grows. I would like to see this number fully vetted so the pro-lockdown conspiracy theorists don't say that they are phony. As of now: Medical & Public Health Scientists 8,700 Medical practitioners 21,

A secret unelected group of civil service English mediocrities. Some of them are behavioral scientists. Which is NOT SCIENCE That was just the initial salvo. The pharma industry will soon have their highly compensated shills putting out all sorts of "scientific studies" to debunk the efforts of the Barrington signers and those people will be called quacks and much worse. The social media czars will of course promote these new studies and help cast doubt upon the qualifications and sincerity of the signers. Welcome to the new world order, comrade.
vermin on arrival
From the website: "Medical & Public Health Scientists 9,422 Medical practitioners 24,746 Signatures will be made public after approval With the current success of the campaign we have to ensure that the server remains available for signatures to be added. We will update this page with a static list of verified and approved signatures as time allows." So the number of health care professionals climbing on board is steadily increasing. Funnily enough this just came out from the WHO: WHO warns against COVID-19 lockdowns citing grave economic consequences https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/4029246 So even the WHO is waking up to the huge social and economic ramifications of these lockdowns. Doubling world poverty and child malnutrition are starting points. “Just look at what’s happened to the tourism industry in the Caribbean, for example, or in the Pacific because people aren’t taking their holidays,” Nabarro said. “Look what’s happened to smallholder farmers all over the world because their markets have got dented. Look what’s happening to poverty levels. It seems that we may well have a doubling of world poverty by next year,” Nabarro continued. “We may well have at least a doubling of child malnutrition because children are not getting meals at schools, and their parents, in poor families, are not able to afford it.” In the end, the WHO envoy appealed to world leaders to avoid locking down their countries as a means to tackle the pandemic and suggested using better alternatives. “We really do appeal to all world leaders: stop using lockdown as your primary control method. Develop better systems for doing it. Work together and learn from each other, but remember lockdowns just have one consequence that you must never, ever belittle, and that is making poor people an awful lot poorer.”
