Great idea, and one I am sure Harris/Biden are looking at. I appreciate your honesty in voicing what the democrats are secretly planning - a real shame the democrat leaders said the voters don't deserve to know their plans-

"Former Vice President Joe Biden said Friday during an interview with KTNV, a local ABC affiliate in Las Vegas, that voters “don’t deserve” to know his stance on expanding the Supreme Court"

The one problem is your new improved supreme court will have zero legitimacy. The court worked well with 9 justices for the last what 150 years, since the time the internal combustion engine was invented. So serious conflicts will not be resolved by the courts, which leads to the last resort for settling grievances. And i am not convinced the left will be liking it when that happens.

I see you hold me in such high regard that you actually think I have inside knowledge as to what the Dems are planning. I'm afraid I have to disappoint you - I really don't.

And it will work great with 12.

Oh, you'll come around, just wait and see!

The way I see this is Trump wanted new judges that follow the law, not progressive activists. This is the supreme court after all. The biggest news in recent weeks is how Biden/Harris refuse to confirm they will not stack the court with "progressive" judges. They have been asked several times and Biden stated he will only answer this super important question "after the election". Oh really?!  Such a move to stack the court would result in the supreme court losing all credibility, a disaster IMO. Worrying about whether the left side like Mrs Barrett or not is somewhat irrelevant when the legitimacy and very future of the supreme court is at stake.

So nonsensical. Take the voting rights act. Scalia, along with the other 4 conservative justices, gutted the voting rights act for precisely the kind of reasons they abhor: they arrogated to themselves the legislative functions. They claimed that conditions in the USA no longer justified the law but that it was politically impossible for Congress to act. As it turned out, as soon as they gutted the act, several states took actions that discriminated against African Americans. This was a blatant example of the conservatives on the supreme court favoring Republicans and suppression of the vote. Barrett has explicitly said that she is an admirer of Scalia.
