The first mobile sterilization and vaccination truck for Pattaya to treat stray cats and dogs was launched yesterday.

The Pattaya City Deputy Mayor Nanot Nongyai told The Pattaya News that “There are many stray cats and dogs in Pattaya.”

Now we are just waiting to see where it will fall

It was not "yesterday". The OP was quoting an old article, probably from August.

I am not in Pattaya now so can't say what happened with this vehicle...

As far as my experience goes, this is something that they offer once a year in almost all provinces. However, all do not have a special bus for it.

True, but in Pattaya they made these "free sterilization promotion" at least twice last year.

...I saw a smaller truck last year in Jomtien.  I sold my condo in cozy beach last year.  When I returned to LOS to complete my sale, I noticed all the soi dogs next to my 7-11 were all gone.  I asked the money change guy what happened to all the dogs I use to feed - he said “ new condo building  around the corner, cambodian workers eat all the dogs” - yikes!

Great ,Now that's a good start to eliminate some of the Soi Dogs.

Apparently they did Pratumnak recently, but I didn't see any special vehicle and there are still lots of dogs about with big balls.

My guess is they are doing half a job, I suggested on Facebook they look round Pratumnak to see exactly where the 200+ dogs are but they claim the area has been done, so the problem remains

Quite. The free sterilisation has been on the go for some time but they usually set up somewhere and you have to take the dogs and cats. The free rabies have mobile units.

Free sterilisation is done by volunteers and mostly PAC + animal army.

This truck has never been anywhere to sterilize any dogs.

We are on the outskirts of Chonburi and I have never seen the truck. My wife and her sister run a voluntary shelter for unwanted cats, about 60 at the moment. They take any cats that need doing when the sterilisation people come to the area. We have about 10 dogs and they go to the vets. The mobile rabies unit has been to the house a few times, they do both cats and dogs, but I think it has all come to a halt at the moment.
