Just been to Hooters nana once, and was so dissapointed. However the only Hooters I have to compare with is one in Daytona beach. And Im talking about the food, not the girls ????

Franchises with few customers are often a gamble on food.

Last night I tried their "Wednesday Wingsday" promotion for take-away. I normally don't spend that much on a meal, but decided to splurge. The promotion is: 6-boneless wings, 6-traditional wings and 6-buffalo shrimp with choice of sauce, celery and dressing for the low-low price of 399 baht.

 

The bill came out to 469 baht. I don't know what they added other than service charge and maybe VAT. I went to a new restaurant a few days back and they charged 30 baht for "Food Promotion" because when I walked in the waiter explained the special of the day to me.

 

When I got home and later got around to opening my Wingsday prize, there was no celery, there was no dressing, and....no shrimp. There were 6-boneless and 12-traditional wings. All very tasty and I ate it. I was settled in for the night and wouldn't bother with going back. I could have removed the tape and dug through the boxes before leaving Hooters and discovered the mistake, but I would not have wanted to wait another 30 minutes for them to cook the shrimp and correct the order.

 

Oh well, the wings were good, but not worth 469 baht. I saved calories by not eating the dressing and don't like the celery anyway. It didn't ruin my night, but I made a mental note not to do that again.

I say get rid of Hooters and bring back the Golden Bar! 

Have always been overpriced and not worth a visit, covid or no covid!!! ????????

Wouldn't 50% off Hooters be "Tweeters"? ????

They probably didn't have any shrimp but wouldn't dream of actually telling you that in case you cancelled the whole order. A similar thing happened to me when I visited the Savan Casino in Savannakhet. They substituted one item for another but didn't bother telling me. Just served me with something I didn't order, and I only found out that it was deliberate and not stupidity when I asked why.

The place always seems dead...no atmosphere at all

399+10% = 338.9 + 7%= 362.623---you got robbed.  Did you happen to see the half price promo from 3-4?  Any sign of the Vietcong girls?

Seen a few small groups in there..never, ever even half full, but most of the soi looks dead, especially the lesser known bars, even with 6 ladies in them.

Both businesses have a good size group of followers, who are trying to go to every franchise, but their numbers have been zeroed out.  Not a good time to be in the business of selling overpriced american culture to Chinese tourists.

I did see the half price promo, and they gave me a little card showing a promo for each day of the week. I don't know any Vietcong girls.

Most expats think that paying more than 100 baht for a meal is an outrage!

While original hard rock was in Amsterdam, it is 100% American owned, last time I checked, by the Seminole Indians, out of Florida.  I would call it predominantly american culture, while still acknowledging the British influence on Rock and Roll, regardless of Eric Clapton not being able to carry Jerry Garcia's jock strap.  Hooters, even moreso.  Wouldn't surprise me if it was banned in the EU.

That's similar to reports I am getting.  Was telling a friend who was suppose to be here in March, about the roaches crawling on the loaves of bread at Tesco..he said he would eat the roaches off the floor if he could get back now.  Guy has some deep pockets, too.

You can hardly call Seminole Indians original American culture after having tried to exterminate all of them.. Not banned in EU, why would it? Never been to Amsterdam, Geneva, Brussels?

They bought it with money they made from operating casinos, which were also american culture.  The Feminazi movements started in the EU, that's why a ban on an american company promoting sexy girls wouldn't be a shocker.  Last person I know, who visited Amsterdam said it was mostly middle easterners selling fake powders..so kind of like Kophanang....lot of hype over bs.

399+10% = 338.9 really ??? Adding 10% to something actually gets the price lower ????? I think at birth you got robbed . ???? just joking don't mean to offend but i think your calculation doesn't make sence .
