i am cuttently applying for Non O visa online through London Embassy,

one part on last section 

 

Residence permit in a country in which visa application is submitted (In case that applicant is not a national of the country in which visa application is submitted.)

 

they want a file attached to this, not sure what to upload, as im an irish citizen, i dont need residence permit for uk, 

anyone have any idea for this

Can you submit the application without the file? as it must be known Irish citizens are considered settled as soon as they arrive in uk,  the only thing i can think would be to email the London embassy as there must be a work around.

unfortunately i cant submit the application

i dont know if attaching passport copy again would be ok

I would be OK and would prove you are a citizen of Ireland.

Yes, a second copy of your passport goes there for UK passport holders, so similar for you I would guess.

Isn't the guy Irish? He isn't a UK citizen just because he moved to England. If he was from Northern Ireland, then he'd be a UK citizen.

I forgot that. He needs to upload his Irish passport. Corrected now.

hi all, thanks for replies,

i didnt upload passport second time,

uploaded credit card statement showing home address

all paperwork posted to embassy, fingers crossed will get good news in a couple of weeks

Passport arrived by post yesterday to London Embassy,

today on Website, Status is Ready to Collect Passport.

as im in Ireland, i have included a return envelope with address plus 10 Pound Sterling as was informed in email from Embassy to do this.

Is this a little quick in that it is ready to collect passport, no other information on website

Sound about right. A few weeks ago I posted mine on a Tuesday afternoon and it was delivered back to my house Friday morning.
