Either Trump is as clean as he claims or ALL his opponents are too dumb, incompetent  or just plain wrong..or ... I am not a fan of either of the two men, but, I think Biden will win quite comfortably.

 

Covid has finished Trump off. Or rather, Trump has finished himself off with his horrible reaction, attitude etc. towards the Covid situation. 

 

If there had been no Covid, I think it would have been an extremely close race.

Many on the Right (perhaps accurately) describe the USA as a constitutional federal republic, rather than a democracy. The Electoral College is constitutionally designed to prevent domination by the majority.

As far as I know, federal republic is a form of government whereas democracy is an ideology that helps shape how the government is elected. I also question the relevance of the 1804 amendment to the 21st century. This just my opinion and I realistically know it wouldn't matter much. Just to conclude that most countries have moved away from EC like France, Spain and even South Korea. US and few undeveloped countries stand out as the countries that still have the EC. Quite stunning. This is off topic and I will end here.
