Yo,

The title should say most of it, but I am on a Non-O which has basically expired already but I managed to get the additional two month extension. My stamp is now good until the 25th of this month and looking like I may have to head to the UK for awhile which frankly brings me out in cold chills, and NOT only because of the poor weather there.

Is anyone aware if Immigration has/will extend the amnesty beyond this date? Tough question I know, and they usually make their decision shortly before the expiry date. I can't wait too much longer as need to get a flight sorted to England if they don't extend it.

Besides that I could use an agent I suppose, but have never dealt with one in the past and not sure I trust them 100%.

Any advice whatsoever in reference to keeping me in the Kingdom, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

The amnesty ended on October 31st. There will be no more extensions of it.

You can apply for the new 60 day extension for a fee of 1900 baht. You will complete a affidavit stating the reason you need the extension that they will give you when you do the application.

Okay thank you. So are they giving extensions easily? If I were to put on the affidavit, 'to remain with Thai family', would that suffice? Also, is evidence of funds required? Thanks.

The 60 day extension are being issued without a problem.

The boxes to tick on the affidavit and the last one is blank where you could write to stay with your family.

No financial proof is needed.
