AUGUSTA, Ga. (Reuters) - There is something uniquely different about playing in silence at Augusta National, even for professional golfers who have quickly adjusted to life without spectators since the PGA Tour resumed in June after a three-month coronavirus shutdown.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (Reuters) - Amateur Andy Ogletree's Masters debut was relatively serene on Thursday, played without the fans that rocked Augusta National with roars he witnessed on TV as a kid growing up in Mississippi.

Dumping of toxic waste in local watershed infuriates Tak Karen community

PHUKET: Three months after police said they expected the investigation into the death of 19-year-old student Pornpiphat “Mint” Iaddam at Phuket Rajabhat University in August should be completed “soon”, the officer tasked with overseeing the case today (Nov 13) confirmed that the investigation still has yet to conclude.

Passengers stuck at Phuket airport after flights delayed for 7 hours

PHUKET:-- A total of 190 passengers finally departed Phuket International Airport for Bangkok at about 2:40am this morning (Nov 13) after three Vietjet Air flights were delayed due to what the airline says were “technical checks”.

Public urged to watch COVID-19 symptoms in winter

MANILA (Reuters) - Philippine police and soldiers joined a search on Friday for missing people after Typhoon Vamco killed at least 42 people, as residents returned to devastated homes following the worst flooding in years in Manila and nearby provinces.
