Red Line, new Grand Station to launch in March with free rides

The Bangkok Red Line from Bang Sue to Rangsit (North) and Bang Sue to Taling Chan (West) will open in March next year with free rides for a three-month trial period, said Transport Minister Saksayam Chibchob on Monday.

Stringent checks at Thai-Malaysian border to curb Covid

Thailand pushing for more trade pacts after inking RCEP

Increased PM2.5 forecast in southwest Bangkok on Thursday and Friday

People living in the southwestern part of Bangkok, as well as Samut Prakan and Nonthaburi provinces, are advised to brace for increasing PM2.5 in the atmosphere on Thursday and Friday, due to the onset of a cold front from China, which will result to poor air circulation, according to Mr. Atthapol Charoenchansa, director-general of the Pollution Control Department.

State of emergency extended 45 days until January 15th

Thailand’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has decided to extend the state of emergency for another 45 days, from December 1st until January 15th, in order to cover the New Year festival, when many people will return to their home towns or travel during the long vacation.

Pheu Thai: Thai economy not yet past lowest point; government urged to help SMEs

They are urging the government to better look after small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), many of which have low liquidity and have shut down their businesses.
