Dtac Scam (well Ok Possible Scam)

Featured Replies

Talked into this by some silver tongued sales person my wife amd two of her friends signed up for a "cheaper" billed monthly DTAC service.

"You can still use your old number so no problem your phone will still work on old number".

Today my wife complained that her "old" 12Call number was not working and that friends trying to call her could not. After some logic on my part and heated, and I mean heated, discusion, with no logic on her part we determined that her old 12Call number had no money left in it's account and therefore 12Call could not sall forward the number to DTAC.

I just wonder how mant people a day fall for this "Can use your old number" Scam?

Presently, there is no mobile phone number portability between local Telco. Therefore, you have to blame on both parties. Simplicity or easy process doesn’t work in Thailand.
