Jealous ex drives pick-up into house and smashes all the windows with a hammer

Update: Pattaya Update News

A Thai woman went to the media with pictures saying that her jealous ex husband was responsible for driving an Isuzu D-Max pick-up through her front windows and smashing up her house.

The incident happened in Nong Hong sub-district of Phan Thong District, Chonburi on Sunday.

Uraiwan, 42, told Pattaya Update News that the damage was the work of her ex Chalermkiat or "Big" aged 34.

He had caused 300,000 baht in damage with three TVs, a fridge, a show cabinet and all the windows around the house smashed out with a hammer.

It was not reported if she was in the house at the time.

She told the media that they had split up a long time ago and both have new families now.

She put it down to her ex's jealousy and said he should move on and look after his own family.

Update: Pattaya Update News

She said he had threatened to drive his car into her house and set it on fire but she thought those were empty threats.

The matter is in the hands of the Phan Thong police with Uraiwan urging them through the media to get on and arrest the culprit.

After a few years with the New lady.......he obviously thought it wasn't quite such a good deal...... :coffee1:

"Big", sounds far removed from reality.

I don't think it was flowers or an apology.

amature, didn't even burn the place down.

Looks like she got a nice truck though.

He wanted his special Amulet back that could have healed his fragile ego it seems

This is an extremely rare almost unheard of event, I have never met a more  nice, sincere  honest ,reliable , hard  working bunch than the Thais, I feel  blessed to live here, not a  day goes  by when I dont go down to the temple to give them some more  money to help with their worthy causes.

So, you're an immature, petty man-child too?

Apparently he hasnt been delivering her anything for a while and decided he would surprise her with a smashing night in.

"big" daddy is home!

Why build a covered car parking when there is a spot available already?

A solid parallel parking next to the cabinet.

What not to like?

Guilty!

A few years back there was a story about a farang who caught his wife cheating on him. He went and bought a ticket out of the country in a week. Just hours before his flight hr drove a bulldozer into the house and left.

My favorite jealous man story. In the US a man suspected his wife was having an affair with a certain man. One day while on the job he drove by his house and saw the certain man's car parked out on the street. He drove next to the car in his company cement truck and filled the car up with cement till the tires popped.

What a man won't do for------

Why did he have to leave the country?  If he paid to build the house, and most likely he did, it's his to bulldoze.

Sound like a very one sided and full of hole version of the story.

Doing this after years and having a new familly.... i wouldnt be surprise to learn  they have a money story behind this act, like the ex borrowed her a big sum of money that she never intended to pay back.

More than likely in her name!

If that's the case, he deserves to leave the country.  ????
