Thailand has been praised on the international stage for the way it is dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. But the recent cases, discovered in several provinces, resulting from a group of people who snuck across the border in Chiang Rai province illegally and failed to self-isolate, have unsettled many.

Governors urged to stop illegal border crossings following new COVID-19 cluster among returnees from Myanmar

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Ministry of Interior has ordered governors of all border provinces to suppress illegal border crossing through natural borders, following new cases of COVID-19 found among Thai workers returning from Myanmar through illegal channels, while Thai authorities are now asking all Thai nationals in neighboring countries to follow the protocol set for all returnees strictly.

Airports ordered to hurry upgrades in 2021 as Thailand eyes return of tourists

KTC expects improvement in credit card business this month

LONDON (Reuters) - Universal Music Group's publishing arm has bought Bob Dylan's entire back catalogue of more than 600 songs, from towering classics such as 1965's "Like a Rolling Stone" to this year's 17-minute epic "Murder Most Foul".

58 illegal migrant workers from Laos arrested at resort in Ubon Ratchathani

Transport Ministry proposes a committee to decide on Suvarnabhumi 2nd terminal

Thailand’s Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has been asked by the Transport Ministry to set up a committee, to be chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, to decide whether the North Expansion of Suvarnabhumi international airport requires the construction of a new passenger terminal.

People come to Twitter for a sense of connectivity, togetherness, and encouragement; and in 2020, this was more true than ever. People used Twitter to try and change the world, help others, to encourage them, inspire them, or even just make them laugh. They also used Twitter to promote businesses that needed support during the pandemic.
