DREAM ON.... As Long as there are political leaders that have NEVER studied politics, there will be decisions that do not follow politics.

I am trying to get to the bottom of the constant rhetoric and constant declarations every few days from one department or another within the Thai Government, Doctors, Business leaders etc.

Is it a common held belief in Buddhism that if you wish for something hard enough it will happen ?

As this is all I see among a hopeless set of rules and regulations distributed and given out every 2-3 days from the government and the financial sector. 
Do they actually believe all this will happen ??

As I am becoming very disillusioned to the verity and possibility of all these statements coming true.  
From July onwards, these statements have proven time and time again, they are not working.

At the end of the day, you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Either severely restrict / discourage the inflow of tourism via convoluted COVID-prevention / visa-related requirements and accept the monumental loss in tourism-related revenue 

OR

Open up the borders and be willing to accept the consequences
