Amazing Thailand: Bungling armed robber opens fire at gold shop in Nakhon Sri Thammarat

Extraordinary CCTV footage from a gold shop in downtown Nakhon Sri Thammarat in the south of Thailand showed a lone gunman dressed in an apron of the "Five Star BBQ Chicken" brand.

 

After getting four bahts' weight of gold worth about 110,000 baht he fires at employees cowering behind the counter in fear, luckily missing them.

 

Then finding the door shut automatically he fires another four shots to try and get out. 

 

He manages to smash the door and flee then realizes he has dropped some of the gold. He goes back for this but leaves his hat. 

 

Witnesses said he escaped on a green/white Yamaha Fino motorcycle. 

 

The provincial police chief and local cops were on the scene interviewing the female owner of the store who said that two female sales staff were in the store at the time.

 

According to a Sanook report it appears to have happened on Monday evening.

Why did the chicken get run over crossing the road .? 

Coz' he stopped to pick up the gold he'd dropped .. 

Hahahahah .. what a Rodney Trotter .. honestly you couldn't make it up some days ..

Should be easy enough to solve.  Look for the guy selling fried chicken without a hat on.
