I was issued a mutiple entry non imm B from Hull on March 10th 2006. Entered Thailand on March 29th 2006 and have been using this visa, leaving every 90 days to re-stamp, since. My last entry was on March 9th 2007 (one day before the last date of utilization) when I was stamped for a further 90 days until June 6th. The stamp says visa class - non B.

Am I now able to use this visa to apply for a work permit or do I need a new visa. If I can and the WP isn't processed before June 6th, what happens then? Do I need to get a new non imm B? Please help, thanks.

It is not your visa that matters, just you current entry stamp.

You should be able to apply for the WP without difficulty.

If the application is not completed before June 6th, you should have some papers from the Labour Dept

to show it is in progress and Immigration will extend your stamp based on those.

Probably the extension will be 30 days at a time, until you have the WP.
