BANGKOK/NAKHON PATHOM, Thailand (Reuters) - When Sorawut Kittibanthorn was looking for new types of waste to recycle, the then London-based student was drawn to the millions of tons of chicken feathers being discarded each year.

Govt offered ideas on steps it can take to attract foreign investment

Thailand’s Finance Ministry may extend the period for registrations for the 50:50 co-payment economic stimulus scheme for applicants whose registration failed due to disruption to DTAC’s mobile phone service.

The governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Yutthasak Suphasorn has gone to the Royal Thai Police with a list of the names of 514 hotels, resorts, restaurants and shops who he claims have ripped off the state in the "We Travel Together" (Rao Thiaw Duay Kan) coupon stimulus scheme.

BA halts Sydney, Bangkok flights to Oct 2021, axes Kuala Lumpur

British Airways now won't return to Australian skies until the back end of 2021.

Bangkok districts Clean Roads as Air Pollution intensifies

District offices in Bangkok today launched street cleaning operations using sprays of water, hoping to help reduce airborne particles. The city today launched this mission together with tougher regulations against vehicles emitting black exhaust smoke.

Bangkok schools remain open amidst air pollution crisis

No school in Bangkok has decided to close so far, while the Thai capital is suffering from unhealthy air quality. The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has instructed all schools under its supervision to cancel all outdoor activities, add air filters to their air conditioning units and use fans to help mitigate the situation.

Digital Ministry checks progress of Bangkok’s Underground Cable relocation

The Ministry of a Digital Economy and Society (MDES) has urged telecom provider TOT to speed up its work to relocate utility cables from poles to underground. The TOT has set an August 2021 deadline for existing projects in downtown Bangkok, helping the city realize its Smart Metro goal.
