Just to let you all know, the Thai embassy in Singapore is only accepting visa applications between the hours of 9:15-11:30 am (as opposed to the 12:15 advertised on all the paperwork)

I would also suggest that if your looking to submit a visa application you get there as early as possible. I was there at 9:30am today and only just got my paperwork in before they closed.

Thanks for the update - I may be sending my passport there soon and will let the agent know.

I have come past there early in the morning (just after 8 ;-) ) to see a queue waiting outside

I wonder if the clampdown on visa runners has resulted in more applications at the embassy,

hence the reported queue and need to reduce the opening hours to allow

time to get all the applications processed ready for the next day?

A nice little money spinner if it is.

I remember a Sri Lankan consul telling me that they relied on visa applications for a good part of their income.
