Could someone please inform the TAT governor there is a Covid virus effecting the world. Maybe, A Nut In Government could have a word with him once he comes down off his high, and explain the meaning of what going on a trip really means.

Targeting how? That means some type of plan in attracting tourists...how can one have a realistic plan in a world of such uncertainty not knowing from one day to the next?

let’s start with how are they going to handle vaccinated tourists who wish to travel?

Hmm,.....

“Thaivisa notes that there appears a strong disconnect between reality on the ground and thepronouncements of the TAT governor.”

Sums it all up really?

Is that the Oxymoron of 2020 end of year?

By our government?

"All systems go,"?   Were launching an aircraft off a carrier or Preparing for ignition of the next Shuttle or Space X flight?

What?

Its not just Thailand, its the world that's in a Pandemic Crisis. .

But. Yes.... the true die hard travellers will find a way to get hers and spend 500 billion baht, next year...

More dreams in a perfect world.

When are they going to wise up and stop putting an actual date on their prognastications ?  Take the time frame off and eventually you are right . Some day 10,000,000 visitors will return to Thailand .  In the meantime maybe focus on resolving the cluster*uck they call an immigration policy .  Stop paying lip service to "Welcome to Thailand " and

institute processes and procedures that assist entry rather than impede it .  Educating front line immigration staff on their role as public servants  would be very helpful as well .

It seems to be that some people plan to travel Thailand on Q4/2021. Just saw news that few bigger agencies have seen bookings up to 6 times more than 2019. Is't going to happen is another story, but many people seem to believe this opportunity.

Yeah right. And they will enjoy Thai hospitality for 16 days of relentless fun in quarantine. ( It is 16.Not 14.) At the modest cost of 50k baht ++. Not a single word about the millions who by said 3rd quarter will have been vaccinated.

I think TAT officials should not be allowed to drink so much on the job.

Europe are doing more lock downs. Canada is still in partial lock down. The USA still have people

dying like flies, and should be in at least partial lock downs, so I doubt that there will be

millions travelling internationally until at least next Summer or Fall.  Come on TAT  quit dreaming.

Geezer

So Third Quarter, That means starting in July.  Hmmm, correct me but British Airways has said they will not be flying until next October this way, and many Airlines have not stated when they will return to flying the international routes on a regular basis.  Has this guy taken some mind altering drugs or is his crystal ball the same as the magic Mirror, Oh Mirror Mirror on the wall how many tourists will come next fall.......

The only airlines keeping up with the Asian routes on a regular basis are Emirates and Qatar, they can afford to lose money on passengers as they make a lot of money on cargo
