Agreed, see no great reason for mass testing as the possible infection rate is low and deaths are virtually zero. If people do the right thing such as stay at home as much as possible, wear masks, wash hands and social distance the numbers will stay low.

Your probably spot-on about the expert farangs harping on about lack of testing etc - - - anyone here want to put their hand up who got tested - -just in case,   so it comes down to  put-up or shut-up.

Go and try and get yourself tested.  Not able to do it as I do not show any symptoms and am not on a list of those tracked or traced.  Tried 3 times since August and the Hospital will not test without at least one of the symptoms they need. GF's daughter is down now with pneumonia at 6 years of age and they did not test her for Covid either, just packed her some meds and sent her home.....hmmm now where were we, oh yes testing.  Go ahead and try yourself and respond back with your success.

So in reality testing is limited to only tracked and traced contacts and not testing of the many more who could be carriers.  That's nice to know, and when they stop testing those that have been track

  • Agree. Mass testing of the population would surely show higher numbers. Each province should have testing stations and testing should be free.

  • One way to project a successful COVID campaign is the way the US deals with gays in the military - "don't ask, don't tell"...   These tests are passive testing - testing people who come to h

Not interested in being tested plus I don't have a need - no symptoms, and further I'm not one of those crying all day about the lack of testing because there are thousands out there with covid 19. A brief check at your local hospital would highlight a massive increase in numbers if covid was rampant, likewise had there been a major increase of funerals at your local Wat which might tell you that more people than average are dying each day.

Enjoy yourself and your minority views.

Testing will show those that are Asymptomatic and can spread the virus by shedding it while never getting ill themselves.  Many more are asymptomatic and then there are those with light symptoms versus those who end up hospitalized or on a ventilator and then potentially die.  However, there are those who don't look at the whole picture and make up comments about full morgues, many dead bodies and many cremations as the tell all sign of Covid-19 being present.  Those are but a small fraction and percentage of total cases, but then those folks could care less about the big picture.  Enjoy and be safe

Your a sad man as well. Never thinking in between or outside of the box enjoy your smug views, as they are not my views or others I know. Enjoy yourself.

Nothing smug there, I am just as concerned about covid as anyone else but don't continually go on about what is happening in Thailand where it appears to be generally under control and being handled reasonably well compared to a few supposedly advanced countries. I am more than happy to be here at the moment than my own country.

We were tested several months ago.

Clueless. But carry on.

Looks like dcnx above has been tested.
Go to a different hospital, plenty will test you.
Which hospital did you go to? I will call them and ask about getting a covid test.

Amazing how they are finding hundreds of cases everyday but they don’t actually test anyone.
They just magically appear?

Pneumonia is not covid.

Yes Dr Trump

Most people who get COVID-19 have mild or moderate symptoms like coughing, a fever, and shortness of breath. But some who catch the new coronavirus get severe pneumonia in both lungs. COVID-19 pneumonia is a serious illness that can be deadly.
