Heart failure has been cited as the cause of the deaths of seven young Thais, suspected to have used a cocktail of illicit drugs known as “K powdered milk”.

Pol Gen Manoo Mekmok, the deputy national police chief, told the media today (Tuesday) that initial autopsy results show that they died of heart failure, but full details will have to wait, just as the details of the cocktail of drugs they may have taken, which are pending tests by forensic experts at the Police General Hospital.

In addition to the seven dead victims, another youth remains in a coma and under treatment in hospital, he said, adding that all the seven dead youngsters are believed to have bought the cocktail drug from different sources.
