Community testing continues in Samut Sakhon

BANGKOK (NNT) - Health officials continue to arrange active case finding operations in communities and villages in Samut Sakhon where the majority of recent COVID-19 cases have been reported. The on-site testing service today took place in Khlong Maduea subdistrict, serving both local residents and migrant workers.

BMA to suffer a loss despite hiking Green Line fare ceiling

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) will make a loss operating the Green Line extension of the BTS Skytrain despite hiking the fare ceiling from Bt65 to Bt104 effective from February 16, said Praphas Leuangsirinapha, BMA's Traffic and Transportation Department director.

PHUKET: Phuket Provincial Police Chief Maj Gen Pornsak Nuannoo yesterday (Feb 1) confirmed that an arrest warrant had been issued for the killer of the woman whose body was found dumped beside the road south of Patong on Friday (Jan 29).

HANOI (Reuters) - Vietnam's health minister said on Tuesday a newly detected coronavirus outbreak, which has infected 276 people and spread to 10 provinces and cities, is caused by the more contagious British variant of the coronavirus.
