Sam Neill admits he was lost while filming his Thor: Ragnarok cameo

Jurassic World (and Park) legend Sam Neill has opened up about his delightful Thor: Ragnarok cameo, admitting that, actually, he had no idea what was going on.

 

Sam appeared in Taika Waititi's first Thor movie alongside Matt Damon and Luke Hemsworth, with the three portraying Loki, Thor, and Odin in a play put on by the mischievous god himself.

 

In an interview with Collider, the actor tried to settle an important debate on his cameo, revealing whether he was playing himself in the scene, or just an Asgardian actor.

 

Unfortunately, the answer is still a bit of a mystery, as Sam doesn't really know. "I'm not really entirely nerdishly [into] the Marvel franchise," he said. "I was completely baffled by so many things."

If he was lost filming Thor then I can only imagine how he felt when he was filming John Carpenter's In the Mouth of Madness

I wish nobody was. Then there wouldn't be coming so many <deleted> movies coming from the US anymore.
