Suitable food processor for making hummus for personnal consumption

Featured Replies

Can anyone suggest a good and suitable food processor for making hummus?
I currently make by hand and is quite tiring.

I am vegan and eat tahini daily also make my own salad dressing.

You can basically chose what ever food processor. Just not the cheapest, because they will break.

As you are a vegan, and I love vegan food but not stay on the diet. Just wanted to know if you or anybody else have found haloumi cheese in Thailand?

Lemnos brand haloumi is widely available in upmarket supermarkets such as Gourmet Market.  Not cheap, though.

Thanks! I did not expect it to be cheap. ???? As with almost everything imported.

Sorry can't help you regarding halloumi,  I Iive upcountry.   Remember seeing many years ago in Bangkok.
Guess I could try making my own as tofu is easily available here.
I put tahini on toast with banana and cocoa powder.
Been vegan for over 40 of my 74 years and vegggie for 5 years before that.

Thank's for the brand name, having lived in Cyprus and other countries it still comes as a shock the high price of some products here.
