Government MP Pareena committed a gross violation of political ethics – NACC

Palang Pracharat MP for Ratchaburi province, Ms. Pareena Kraikupt, has been found, by the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), to have committed a gross violation of political ethics over her illegal occupation and exploitation of national forest land in the province, which could cost her the parliamentary seat if she is found guilty by the Supreme Court’s Criminal Division for Political Office Holders.

NACC spokesman Niwatchai Kasemmongkol told the media on Wednesday that Pareena and her father, former Ratchaburi MP Thavee Kraikupt, allegedly encroached onto and occupied four plots of land in national forest reserves, on the left side of the Pachee River in Chom Bung district of Ratchaburi, since 2003 and covering nearly 114 hectares.

Both had arranged for electricity to be supplied to the land, by the Chom Bung electricity authority, and had paid local taxes (Por Bor Thor 5) to Rang Bua Tambon administration organization (TAO) for use of the land, which was partially developed for the rearing of livestock.

Palang is only 1 of many MPs  to commit a gross violation, the whole bunch are up to something.

Nah, she's just another grub who clearly believes she's entitled to more than mainstream folks, and not afraid to try for more.

She needs to be sacked, and not the in the bed kind of being sacked.  Prison will suit her well.  However, they need to throw the rest of the convicted criminals and thieves in the poky as well, but yes that would mean the majority of the Government.  Time to start again with an entirely fresh election that is open and fair and transparent with no Junta or appointed senate.  Let Democracy reign.

Love it.....isn't she part of the NACC?

Imagine that.....a member (literally) of the NACC is convicted by the NACC of being corrupt.

Fantastic.

But I guess she'll 'blow' her way out of the supreme court and be found not guilty.

Never seen a Honest Politician ,they Lie from day one and promise the world ,ones they get elected they stab you in the back .

Why should they be honest in their Private Life?

How did they get into politics in the first place?

If you consider why people get into politics then there is no surprise, obviously though she was not well connected enough. Until we find a way to have politicians that don't want to be politicians then corruption and incompetence flourishes. Perhaps the ancient Greeks were right, just do a lottery to appoint politicians. Couldn't be any worse.

The party name says it all. Case dismissed. Order in the court. Order.  Please leave all luxury watches on exit.
