Ko Lipe this weekend

Good Evening,

So, I have never been to Ko Lipe and don't even know how to get there.
I am thinking of going there for a few days and relax at the beach with my wife.
I am trying to learn snorkeling, too.

How do I get to Ko Lipe from Bangkok?
By car or plane doesn't matter.
Are Ferries going to the island and are some hotels and restaurants open?

Cheers!

Go to Pak Bara Pier

GPS: 06.860593, 099.722264

There are number of speedboats available, will get you to the island in an hour. Hotel prices have fallen dramatically, beaches are amazing and diving spots some of the best in south.

I stayed at Sita Resort, hardly 5-6 guests there in fairly large resort.

That’s a nice walking street ! Any shorter way to get to Lipe from the main land ? How far/ long on ferry  to Tarutao please ?

( hate boats ).

No way to get there but the boat. I think it's about 2 hours as it makes 2 stops.

Right now, Lipe is fantastic. Enjoy it before the hoards descend there again.

Very cool.

Question: Can I park my car for one week at Pak Bara Pier while on Koh Lipe?

Currently, still driving and only 180 KM left to reach the pier.

Cheers.
