Visit immigration early for non o renewal/ extension application decision

Just to confirm

 

I recently did the annual application to extend my non o, so waiting the decision

 

My passport is marked to go back on the 25th, but I assume it would be fine if I go on the 24th?

 

I know you can do 90day reporting slightly early, but want to check as this is a renewal/ extension that needs approval

You can go early to check it has been approved prior to your report back date.

Its 100km or so away, I need to go to town on wednesday, and the report back date is thursday. Will they do all I need on wednesday or is there a chance that they wont have the decision until thursday? I dont need to want to go both days

If not an issue changing to Thursday it would indeed be safer but in all likelihood it will be ready a day or so before (decision in not made at local office so they can not help you if you come before it is received from the area hqs).
