Lots of words used in Scrabble are not in the OED.

Yes I know. That's why I personally stopped playing online because they used the Sowpods or some other non-descript dictionary. The language is ENGLISH so use the ENGLISH dictionary ! LOL

Which dictionary do they use for International Tournaments please?

  It was a 'global sucess' due to social media. In 02 there was SARS, which was going to kill 100 of 1000's but it didn't go anywhere because back then you had to switch on the TV or buy a newspaper to hear the news, so it got a far smaller audience, now people are connected worldwide 24/7, practically everyone has a phone and internet connction. Its very easy to spread the fear worldwide instanly, from my perspective in Thailand we were all goverened by what the US and Fraudci said. The fact that the social media outlets were all American too and censored anything that wasn't following the US MSM media narrative it was very easy o brainwash the masses.
