We've started a weekly 'league' on Saturday afternoons at Pattaya Disc Golf. It's a fun competition for players of all abilities with prizes and an ace fund for any holes in one. New players will get an estimated handicap and regular players will have theirs calculated automatically. Entry fee likely to be 200B or thereabouts.

7 Players took part last week and we hope this number will grow. The course is a mix of 40-90 m holes through a beautiful coconut plantation. The course provides a gentle introduction to the sport for beginners and has plenty of challenges for more experienced players. There are discs available to borrow or buy. There is plenty of shade and cafe for drinks, snacks and food.

Thanks, everyone. Please spread the word as I am sure there are plenty of expats who would enjoy fitting a visit into their itinerary next time they are passing or staying nearby. Persuading Thais to have a go has been a challenge but we have a number of keen locals already, so hopefully numbers will continue to grow as the interest spreads.

Weekly tournament more likely to start at 4 pm on a Saturday but opening hours are 10 am - 6 pm all through the weekend if you just want to check it out. If you get to know the owner, he’ll probably be happy for you to play on weekdays too.
