Thailand reported 92 new COVID-19 infections on Thursday.

Of the new cases, 78 were local transmissions, while 14 were imported from people entering quarantine.

A further 38 people were discharged from hospital having made a full recovery.

1028 people remain in hospital or held in a migrant worker quarantine centre.

Most of the cases were originated from Samut Sakhon and Bangkok, the location of a new cluster of cases linked to Bang Khae Market.

Thursday’s cases bring the total number of COVID-19 infections in Thailand to 27,494, with 89 deaths.

There is no mention of the 77 Migrants held in a Immigration Detention Center that have caught Covid while being detained

Administering the vaccine yesterday has given immediate results!

Anyone seen the latest case numbers in Europe or out close neighbor the Philippines, these are numbers other countries would do anything for.

IF authorities are testing, surely they would disclose low numbers.

We really need some public reassurance by disclosing numbers & results of tests, where & why.

The only conclusion must be that a) there's little testing or b) numbers are high.

As of today, there have been 1,400 Covid+ cases in Bangkok. Bang Khae has further spread Covid to two provinces which had none, Srisaket & Mukdahan. By my count, that's 65 of 77 provinces.

Please, cancel Songkran & give some protection to public health.

If Thailand had free testing, had testing centres and carried out the same number of tests  as the Philippines and Europe you would see a marked difference in the number of cases.

I know you being sarcastic but as you know getting vaccinated does not stop you

from catching the virus or spreading it around

You may only get a mild infection.
