May 17, 200718 yr I've recently been converted from a Chang drinker into a Leo drinker. Can't stand Singha. Yep, best beer in the region has definately got to be Leo. Just about all other Thai beers & the beers made under liscense (Heineken & Asahi) are nearly undrinkable. Cheers, Soundman.
May 17, 200718 yr A couple of points, someone mentioned Kookabura as being an Indian beer, did he mean Kingfisher ????? Oops yes it was me and no excuse for the error thanks and well spotted CB
May 17, 200718 yr I drink Leo in Thailand. At the moment I have a nice can of Sapporo Draft One next to me here in Tokyo. Japanese beer is really good, if you ever get the chance try,Yona real Ale
May 17, 200718 yr Like another poster I can't believe there are so many people dissing the mighty Chang, winner of Australian Industry Beer Awards 1998!!! - and they won't let you forget that either. For value price and zing it's hard to beat. For my mind Leo is a nice drop. Singha forget it..
May 17, 200718 yr Best beer in the world is Jupiler from Belgium. Pure ingredients so no headoche, hangover or whatever. Heineken, if sold in Holland, is also a great beer. Looks like it that the Dutchies are exporting the lower quality beers and are keeping the best for themselves. Horrible beer is beer Chang. I always get that chemical feeling when I drink it. Wonder what''s in it?

Oops yes it was me and no excuse for the error thanks and well spotted CB Your forgiven, we know you Crow's supporters only drink Chardonnay so how can you discuss a real drink like beer?
May 17, 200718 yr actually beer lao or lao beer? deserves honourable mentin..surprisingly good,.....heard it was brewed in laos by belgians or something ive been to laos 4 times, but the last time i realised i'd forgotten how good the lao beer is.i thought that maybe they had help from the germans as it seems to hold its head (foam),better than other beers in the region.

May 17, 200718 yr Great thread. All time favorite is Chimay triple, followed closely by Coopers special, then Coopers ale, then anything Czech. Outside Bangkok, Leo is first choice- who would have guessed that Singh's second label was that good.

May 17, 200718 yr lived in the Czech republic for a couple of years and the beer was so good I became an alcholic Anyway the best beer I have tasted is Pilsen urguell and Radagast(czech) The worst any beer from Australia. American beer is neutral for me and usually better than nothing. Tsing Tsao is like water and I have never managed to get druck from it as its a light beer.
