Experts offer some tips on how people can avoid the dangers associated with a sweaty summer day

Summer has officially come to Thailand. The season is the best time for kids and parents to spend quality time together on a summer trip on the beach, but it can also be the worst time of year for those who struggle to cope with the heat and humidity.

These two factors can, in fact, be dangerous. They don’t just make us sweaty and uncomfortable but can also make us sick.

And struggle with the air pollution of burning fields, cars, motorbikes, industry, etc.

Go swimming. Open up the pools of condominiums, hotels, resorts, etc to the general public. Teach the less privileged children and their moms and dads to swim.  Invest time, share resources and make the world a better place.

Yep.  Too many Thai kids die needlessly each year because they never were taught to swim.  This family knows.  Wife lost her first son exactly that way.  I've tried to get my wife and stepson to learn but no interest.  But my granddaughter swims thank God.  Grandad will get her back to the swimming pool when this covid nonsense ends.

this year I find temperatures comfortable. So far there were not any heat waves, as in the past, with around 40C.

as to humidity it will be higher during rainy season, so far it's low.

Apparently, high temperatures and high humidity stop covid virus.

What bothers is increasingly rising air pollution. In the previous years only winters were bad, now it extends into summer.

Many workers from cities returned the last year to their family homes in the villages and are growing crops in cheap traditional way, including slash and burn.

Hang on. They're telling this to RESIDENTS of TL?

Coals to Newcastle I think. Someone else wants to see his/her name in print as evidence of doing a good job *sigh*

hi-so's sharing their swimming pools with the pleb's - sure, but only in your dreams.

However I do agree with your thoughts but don't hold any hope of any worthwhile  changes.
