BANGKOK (NNT) - The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has urged people who had visited Krystal Club, Bla Bla Bar and Beer House in the Thonglor and Ekkamai areas from March 25 to 31 to fill a risk assessment form via the website as soon as possible.

BMA’s Health Department and Urban Institute for Disease Prevention had reported the discovery of 13 Covid-19 cases that included five people who visited Krystal Club on March 25 and eight people after visiting Krystal Club, Bla Bla Bar, and Beer House on March 27.

The BMA said the investigation team will accelerate the search for people at risk of Covid-19 infection.

According to the BMA, people at risk of infection could contact the Health Department’s disease control division on 0 2245 4964 for a swab test.

A Cabinet Minister also in attendance has not even bothered to quarantine.

A Cabinet minister was eating and drinking with friends at a famous entertainment venue in Bangkok's Thonglor district on March 25, where a friend was found to be infected with Covid-19. He attended a Cabinet meeting on March 30 and continued to work on regular inspection on April 3 without following the mandatory quarantine regulation.

Government should do surprise Bar tests nationwide to get a real idea of the problem.

I'm sure they are fully aware although  them and other HISO's and other privileged few whom have received their jabs already then it is not a problem. Since when have these sort, or those before them in the past, ever given a tuppeny toss about the normal folk in this country, so hence no problem.

Since all entertainment venues have to operate under Covid regulations all visitors need to register and so all of them are known to the authorities anyway. Or not...?!

Vaping is quite popular at the Thong Lor venues, both inside and outside. As is the sharing of vapes.

Lollipops not shared so much.

I assume the virus can spread via the gigantic vape clouds?

And I'm still shocked that Nitrous is sold openly, and of course people share the balloons.

if it is voluntary and it is thailand it will not work

Can only be voluntary unless visitors can be traced by check-in or registration. In EU you would never know who was where when. They certaily wouldn't test everybody in sight. Thailand has faults but fir Corona containment they do a lot better than any western country.

oh no, whatever shall we do? only 99.99% of us will survive.

Maths not your strong point? Its closer to .04% now, that's just the official figures and the virus ain't finished yet. But it wouldn't matter if your 0.1% was correct - how would you feel if someone close to you was included in those figures?

so please if you believe in that, go take a Vaccine and let rest of us have normal life and can prevent much more lethal diseases than this ordinary flu.

That's a ridiculous statement which hopefully will be deleted.
