A lot of misinformation being spewed out, there's an article in the Nation just published that says Sinovac is approved by WHO.

Then what more could we expect from Anutin

"He said the politicians cited foreign news reports to refute the efficacy of the AstraZeneca and Sinovac brands, even though both vaccines had been approved by the World Health Organisation."

WHO is in the process of assessing it along with many others but its certainly not approved

Correct.  Anutin's assertion that the WHO has already approved Sinovac is another falsehood.  The latest from WHO about Sinovac is that they might be able to approve it by the end of this month.  The WHO may have lower standards than most Western countries as it is desperate for vaccines for its COVAX programme to be sent free to  countries with no bargaining power whatsoever.

Without peer reviewed publication of stage 3 results and Sinovac's refusal to share the stage 3 data at all, approval of Sinovac's vaccine by anyone has got to be a rather dubious business.  We already know from Brazil that it was barely effective against the variants that were known at that time.
