April 13, 20215 yr Hi there, I've recently received Australian Government documentation which needs to be witnessed by a responsible person. Can a Thai solicitor or Doctor etc witness my signature and be accepted by the Australian Government, as I've no intentions of returning to Australia in the near future. If this is possible has anyone got any suggestion where I will find this service in Pattaya and what would the estimated cost be . Thanks.

April 13, 20215 yr Author The Australian Embassy in BKK want's $74 for this one minute service. Again the Australian Government <deleted>s on their retirees who live overseas because they don't vote. I was a National Serviceman for 2 years, I worked on their Naval refits for 30 years as a pipe fitter. As I broke my residential status by living in Thailand for to long they refused to give me the aged pension even though Im 76 yo now. The lucky country, it is for sure as long as you weren't born there. Cheers guys Im going good, stay safe.
